Hi friend, This month, we’re celebrating the ways innovation is helping Samaritas reach more people with hope and healing. From creative partnerships to new tools that strengthen our services, change is happening every day. And with you by our side, we’re ensuring progress always begins with compassion. Join us on this journey, see more below.
Samaritas House of Innovation
Thursday, October 23rd 5:00-7:00 PM
A new Detroit based hub where entrepreneurs, technologists, and social service leaders come together to spark bold solutions and transform how care is delivered.
Join us in thought leadership as we address barriers within the public health system by addressing issues like: Why do mental health systems ignore the employment, housing, and transportation needs of clients as part of their recovery? Together, we'll develop new pathways forward.
Our friends at Upcycle Bikes are helping Samaritas remove barriers to recovery by providing bicycles for participants in our Substance Misuse Programs - opening the door to reliable transportation, work, and independence. Recently, Elizabeth Kelley accepted a donated bike for a client and shared, “From one human to another human, we can do amazing things if we come together.” To learn more click HERE.
